Service Description

A 24 hour urinalysis is a simple, non-invasive diagnostic tool that your nutritional consultant can use to help identify how well you are: digesting the food that you eat, absorbing the nutrients you've digested and getting rid of the body's wastes. Your kidneys filter and cleanse your blood. By analyzing what your blood discards or holds onto during a 24 hour time period gives an incredible amount of information about your digestion and health that will not show up on a blood test. Basically, you collect your urine in the comfort of your home and send a sample to an independent lab for analysis. Once your lab results are in, your dietitian will work with you to develop a customized nutritional plan based on your body's needs and capabilities.
